From deciding what to wear to nailing the million-pound question, preparing for a job interview is a complex and multi-layered process. But sometimes the problem that lets us down is something we might not even notice.

The most frequent oversight is eye contact, with 67 percent failing meet the gaze of their interviewer, followed by having little knowledge of the company, not smiling and having bad posture.
